The Hong Kong ICT Awards recognise, promote and commend the excellent achievements to which Hong Kong ICT professionals, business corporations and organisations contributed. The Awards also encourage local practitioners to develop innovative and creative ICT solutions, which will uplift the professional image of Hong Kong ICT sectors, both locally and internationally.
The Hong Kong ICT Awards were established in 2006 under the collaborative effort amongst the industry, the academia and the Government. Supported by Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, Hong Kong Productivity Council, Hong Kong Trade Development Council and organised by ten local professional associations, the Awards aim at building a large scale and internationally recognised branding of ICT awards of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong ICT Awards Steering Committee, chaired by the Government Chief Information Officer, provides overall policy steer to the Awards Scheme.
The Hong Kong ICT Awards 2013 comprise ten categories. There will be one Grand Award in each category, and an “Award of the Year” will be selected from the ten Grand Awards by the Grand Judging Panel.
